Join our fast growing UK-based team as our marketing lead. We have over 100+ clients in the UK and over 6 million subscribers to the platform. In addition, our UK office is responsible for European expansion and we’ve made steady progress in the EU.

Focusing on a designated segment of the marketplace, the Marketing Strategist leads the development and execution of market-specific penetration strategies and actions that build long-term growth and competitive advantage. Based on keen segment knowledge and insight, the Marketing Strategist adapts the overall marketing strategies and platforms to leverage the unique aspects and opportunities in the supported market. Working closely with others across the marketing, sales and product teams, the incumbent defines market-specific strategies, aggregates GovDelivery products and services into compelling segment initiatives, and executes market-specific programs to drive demand and deliver quality sales leads, create customer loyalty and establish strong market positions.

In this specific role, the Marketing Strategist is focusing primarily on the UK market as well as supporting European expansion and will work in conjunction with Marketing Strategists in the U.S. State/Local and U.S. Federal Markets.

What You Get To Do:

  • Drive growth and capture share in UK market by developing and executing winning segment strategies for GovDelivery products, solutions and services while following corporate marketing guidelines.
  • Enable effective funnel management through expertly crafted and executed demand generation programs and activities that support each stage of the sales cycle.
  • Lead in the development and implementation of compelling segment programs to generate demand and deliver quality sales leads, create customer loyalty and grow and maintain strong market positions.
  • Work closely with UK-based sales team to provide strategic sales pursuits, ensuring that the top opportunities get high quality marketing attention.
  • Plan and coordinate physical and digital events focused on the market segment.
  • Represent UK market opportunities to the marketing organization.
  • Provide localization of U.S.-based marketing collateral and messaging

What We Need In You:

  • 3+ years of marketing experience
  • Experience and/or enthusiasm of the UK government market (EU government market an additional plus)
  • A passion for identifying effective and unique campaign ideas, themes, offers and transforms those ideas into successful and executable programs
  • Exceptional competencies in communication
  • Ability to work closely and earn the respect of the UK-based sales organization
  • Experience working with international and virtual teams
  • Able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks on a tight timeline
  • Whip-smart, astute, quick, resourceful, efficient and ready to make things happen
